A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON FINANCIAL OPERATIONS
Financial controls and investment operations.
Brought into focus.
ReconStandard is a platform in development for reconciliation, financial controls and investment operations.
Separate perspectives.
A more connected picture.
One connected perspective. People retain oversight.

One connected direction.
ReconStandard is being developed to connect financial data, reconciliation and operational oversight in one coherent platform.
We are shaping a platform around the way financial operations connect—not just the individual tasks within them.
Financial operations connect. We believe the perspective behind them should, too.
More than matching.

INTEGRATION WORK IN PROGRESSINTELLIGENCE, WITH PERSPECTIVE.
AI is part of the ReconStandard direction. Integration work with ChatGPT, Claude and other AI models is in progress.
The ambition is to help teams understand context, investigate exceptions and prepare review notes, with people responsible for decisions.

Our vision is for AI agents to prepare data, run approved reconciliation workflows, investigate differences and assemble supporting evidence—with financial validation, clear permissions and human oversight built into every step.

YOU SET WHAT AGENTS MAY DO
Intended operating model · Planned capability
Prepare proposed matches, explanations and actions for review.
Significant changes still require the appropriate human approval.
Example authority: prepare a proposal; do not post or close.
Agents investigate and propose. The reconciliation engine validates financial relationships. Permissions and approvals govern execution.
Intended platform behavior. This local demonstration uses fictional documents and fixed logic. It does not run live agents, change financial records, send messages or grant permissions. The seven roles describe coordinated responsibilities, not seven deployed AI models.
The interactive workflow requires JavaScript. In this fixed example, matching identity, currency and account is necessary. A sample payment advice can explain a USD 150 fee; its suggested next action still awaits approval. Without that document, the difference stays unresolved and evidence is requested.

Bank and custody show USD 1,250; the ledger shows USD 1,300. This fixed example brings the facts together without inferring a cause.
USD 50 difference · Unresolved · Human review required
Interactive illustration · Fictional data · Fixed example text, not generated by an AI model
Understand context: bring the recorded amounts together. Investigate a difference: review source documents, timing and fees as questions, not conclusions. Prepare a review: draft a note for a person to check. The USD 50 difference remains unresolved in every example.
04 / THE DESIGN PRIORITIES
Reconciliation is a foundation. Evidence, accountability and operational context are the wider ambition.
Compare the instruction and bank receipt. A difference starts an investigation; it does not establish a cause.
A connected financial foundation.
Our intended scope brings together reconciliation across data, cash, positions and income. Differences should stay visible until there is a reasoned outcome.
Clarity behind every decision.
Evidence, accountability and visibility into exceptions and workflows are central design priorities. Review context should remain connected to the records it concerns.
A broader operational perspective.
The platform direction spans fund, treasury and investment operations. The aim is a broader operational perspective beyond a single comparison or process.
